  uberSERVER: uberPAK for servers
  =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

  Important Note:

uberPAK utilizes PAK files to maintain a clean directory
structure and to save some space. Unfortunately, servers
cannot autodownload any files included in PAK files. This
means that a server running uberPAK cannot automatically
download any of the maps to clients that do not have the
  maps already.

uberSERVER solves this problem by taking all of the maps
and associated files, sounds, textures, etc. out of the
PAK files. Though this installation takes up about 16 MB
more once uncompressed due to filesystem characteristics,
this is still a handy thing to have because all the maps
are in one handy package AND all the files have been moved
to the correct locations. Basically, all the maps are
"fixed" so a server admin doesn't have to move files around
for maps that have them in the wrong locations.

Servers running uberPAK should update to use the uberSERVER
package instead if they wish to allow their clients/players
to download maps from the server that they do not have.

Sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. :(

How to remove uberPAK in preparation for uberSERVER installation:

Simple! Just delete PAK2.PAK and PAK3.PAK from the quake2/action/
directory. Unzip uberSERVER and overwrite any duplicate files.
  That's it! You're done. :)

*nix users, Linux, FreeBSD, etc., NEED to follow the directions found
in the "uber-nix/" directory IMMEDIATELY AFTER UNCOMPRESSING THIS ZIP.

  Please read the following files:

  maps/docs/_mapfix.txt
  maps/docs/_maplist.txt
uber-nix/readme.txt (*nix users READ THIS, Linux, FreeBSD, etc.)

  Layout:

  env/ (environment images)
  maps/ (map .bsp files)
maps/docs/ (map documentation and info files)
models/ (a model needed by some of the maps)
  pics/ (apparently a map needed the colormap.pcx?)
sound/ (sound files for maps, models, etc.)
sounds/ (sound files for maps, models, etc.)
  textures/ (textures for maps)
uber-nix/ (*nix users NEED TO RUN THIS SCRIPT FIRST)

  Files:

  mapinfo.txt (you're reading this)

  Total size:

  486 MB uncompressed
180 MB compressed in ZIP format

RAR or ACE would compress better but I don't know if
*nix users can uncompress these kind of files.

  Installation:

Simply uncompress this ZIP file into your Quake2 directory.
This map package replaces ALL other AQMD map packages so you
can delete them--which will save space and redundancy too.
