Powerups: Yes, including custom weapons Iceball, Rave Cannon, Omega Beam, Flux Gun, Black Rain mortar, Cluster Bomb, Kill-o-Zap hand weapon, and Buzz Bomb.  Several standard rockets, missiles and stabbers have been modified to include an explosion at their end of flight, including Multi-lock missile, Mini-hornet, Rocket Bomb, Tag Gun, Image Shadower, Stinger missile, Bazooka, Pulse Stabber, Super Stabber and AT Stabber.

Several missing weapon INF files have been included as well.  These files are optional and may be removed if you wish.  These include:

Directions: create a folder called Treads2 in Battlezone II Data\Missions\Multiplayer\ extract the contents of the zip file into the Treads2 folder.  I have been made aware that it is not necessary to copy ODF and INF files to the Addon folder.  In fact, if you have installed files from prior versions of Treads2 DM to the Addon folder, remove them now to help keep your Addon folder uncluttered and to avoid asset problems with this map.

Changes made this version:  added AT Stabber and modified the rendering of the omega beam combat mode to include sparkle and improve the beam's appearance.  The Standard Mortar and Sonic Cannon powerups were relocated to accomodate the AT Stabber.


This deathmatch map is especially designed for tread vehicles and walkers.  The Mauler has not been included in the default vehicle list because they are far too fast for the other vehicles to handle well.  However,I have been told by reviewers that this is also a good map for hovering craft.  Feel free to experiment.  I've also included hand and pack weapons for your footloose pilot enjoyment, be sure to try the Kill-o-Zap custom weapon!
