No, there's no need do delete or create new sectors, simply joining the 'outer' ones with the 'endpoints' for the piper fixes the issue. (The map at this stage is attached.) You could add them back in afterwards, but make sure that they are inner to the surrounding sector, as pictured earlier. It's a bit unfortunate that a convex bunch area isn't sufficient for its proper drawing, but that's the way TROR works there -- it needs a starting sector for every level, and when that doesn't get drawn, the others don't get collected and drawn either.
