Simple 180 Degree Arches
This tutorial will show you how to make a simple 180 degree arch.
As in the previous tutorial, we change the gridsize to 16.
Now create a brush that is 4x4 (28 units high) :

Top View

Front View
    Now click on the
Curves
menu, and under
More Cylinders
, click on
Square Cylinder

This will create a cylindrical mesh for our arch so that we can
transform it later.
We need to make the mesh a bit denser (but not as dense as "Dense Cylinder")
    Click on
Curves/Insert, then on
Insert (2) Rows

We now need to fix up the mesh so that the lines are spread uniformly.
    Click on
Curves/Matrix/Re-disperse, then on
Rows

We then start the bending process for the brush. Make sure the brush is still
    selected and press
'B',
or click on the
"Patch Bend Mode"
button

You should now see some purple dots, which represent the points at which
you can bend the brush. Now look in the Front View and if the purple dots
are not in the following position, press
TAB until they are.

Front View
    Press Enter
and you will see one of the dots turn blue. Now look in the Top View,
    and press TAB
until the Middle-Right dot is selected, like so:

Top View
Just like in the previous tutorial, change the gridsize to the smallest setting. In the
Front View, hold the left mouse button down, and drag the mouse up until the
bottom of the arch is exactly at right angles to to the rest of the brush.
