0.32 alpha User Manual
Introduction
Welcome to SOG!
As you probably know, this is only an alpha release, in the sense of
that it doesn't have everything the next releases of SOG will have to offer;
and in the sense that it hasn't been tested yet, and many bugs are known
of, and were not yet fixed. In future releases, these bugs will be fixed.
SOG's purpose is to combine elements from id Software's games,
resembling Wolfenstein 3-D, DOOM and Quake. In this release, the elements
that were inspired by Quake aren't included yet, since they are not completely
finished. As for the other elements - they are not entirely finished and
polished right now either; but they are at least in playable mode.
Release notes
This release is extremely primary - it does NOT reflect the upcoming
releases. The AXE class, maps, enemies, sounds, music and more were removed
from the original version - as they are not entirely finished.
Also, this release didn't undergo any testing phases, or big code
changes since the Generations 0.98b source - so please don't start sending
in your feeedbacks just yet.
