This level started out as a CTF, very linear level until I realized just how much goes into creating Q2 maps and finally ending up hitting a crash course in editing. Luckily with the addition of editing Q2 levels in Worldcraft, kept my mind on the level and not on the editor since I have used nothing but Worldcraft over the last to or three years, kudos to Ben Morris! This level took hours to get a good balance of detail brushes and func_areaportals to insure halfway acceptable r_speeds. The map boasts a CTF layout, yet has a "Rocket Arena" center area and enough Deathmatch spawns to give you the feel of all three. This is due to the avalanche of Quake2 patches since Jan 98 and my dropping my latest Quake CTF map to jump on the Quake2 map making bandwagon. The map's last compile before this final version was play tested by eight A3D clan members before the addition of detail brushes and some of the func_areaportals and without Radiocity (no fun lighting) and was a lot of fun!
