Objective: Learn your basics in this 1 vs. 1
TFC-Death Match map. Four Arenas:

1: Ramp Room Rampage
2: Water Hazard
3: Bridge Beat-Down
4: Yankee Yard

Scoring: 1 Frag per Kill.

Other Notes: Blue warps send you to and from
the main respawn room, to selected arena,
or back. For Spectators there are yellow
warps which move you to another view
location in the same arena.

SINGLE PLAYER : Nope, Just to look around.

CO-OPERATIVE : Nope

DEATHMATCH : Yep, TFC-DM

TFC : 3 Teams, 16 Player Respawn Points per Team

SUGGESTED PLAYER LOAD : As many as needed, just 2 in each arena fighting... rest can spectate.

MAP BASE : New map / total reconstruction of 2fort outside and rock2 yard, using same sizes/texture scale.

KNOWN BUGS : None.

TOTAL COMPILE TIME : Bout 20 mins.

Unzip 'beatdown.bsp' and 'beatdown.txt' in /Half-Life/tfc/maps
Unzip 'beatdown.html' (what you are reading) anywhere you want.

Map took me about a week's work, on and off, playtesting like mad.
Map is intended to be for building up skill in the certain areas of most
maps that the arenas represent, so overall you get better in TFC

If you want to review this, you first have to contact me, then agree
apon a new rating scale, which is you review the map on what it is intended
for and if it fulfilled that intention, this map has NO WAY is supposed to be
a full fledged TEAM TFC map, so don't think of reviewing it as one.
